Ulverston Town Band

Ulverston Town Band has been in existence for over 150 years. The earliest documented performance of the band was from the laying of the foundation stone to commence the building of Hoad Monument in 1850.

New to the area and fancy joining a band ? Or have you not played for a few years and fancy getting back into it or perhaps you have never touched a brass instrument and want to give it a try? We are keen to recruit new players or all abilities in all sections particularly cornets, trombones and bass players. We are a non contesting band.

The band meets at the Canal Head band room every Friday 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
