Christmas 2025

In December 2025 we delivered some fantastic festive weekends, Santa and the elves worked extremely hard in the grotto greeting over 200 children over the course of three weekends. All proceeds from the grotto were donated to St Marys Hospice totaling £2641.63

We were also delighted to put on a fantastic show of steam engines headed up by Alex Sharphouse from Old Hall Farm, Bouth with Talisman  alongside a rather cute display from Jo and her animals from Life between the ears who were a big hit with the local children.

Music sourced for these events was provided by Ulverston town band and UVHS band which complemented these events perfectly

February 2026 saw the launch of our brand new Win Win competition scheme

What is the Win Win Competition? Each month you can be in with a chance of winning vouchers to be spent in our local businesses.Our intention is to run this programme over the next couple of years to try and ensure all our Levy Members get a little back whilst giving our community the chance to win some fantastic prizes.  Each month we will share details of the monthly prize on our Facebook page , all you need to do is like and share the post to be in with a chance of being our next lucky winner. Flowers & Hanging Baskets

As per previous years, we have invested in the town planters and provided hanging baskets to keep Ulverston looking amazing

The Ulverston School Initiative

In June 2026 we launched our new school initiative. Each Ulverston school has been contacted to provide us 3 wishes with the intention of running a social media poll to involve the parents and wider school communities in voting for what they would like to see the money spent on at their child's school. This scheme has been gratefully received by both the schools and the community which has been a great success so far. Each school will receive £1500 each to spend on resource requirements.
