Ulverston Canoe Club

Ulverston Canoe Club welcomes beginners and paddlers of all levels and ability.

We are a small club (and Charity) based at the National Trust Fell Foot Activity base, in South Cumbria, with members from Cumbria, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and Northumberland. We hold occasional winter pool sessions at Ulverston Baths. Our paddles take place in sea kayaks, open canoes and short boats, on lakes, rivers, canals and on the sea as suggested by our members. Our trips are of varying lengths, include camping trips, and we have the opportunity to develop foundation safety and rescue skills, under take British Canoeing skill development (and assessments if required). The club also holds social events on and off the water; have a look at our Friends of Ulverston Canoe Club Facebook page to see what we have been up to!

We look forward to welcoming you on or off the water.
