Ulverston BID Extends the Lighting of the Hoad Monument
The Ulverston BID has agreed a new contract with MARL international to replace the existing lights that the BID had fitted in 2015. The new contract will replace the existing lights to LED and give a whole new range of colors to light the monument for years to come.
Marl also agreed with the BID that they would contribute 10k to the project as their contribution to the Town to the spectacular gateway to the town with the Hoad lit to highlight special events.
A big thank you to the Ulverston Town Council for taking on the management of the lights on behalf of the BID.
The Hoad monument will continue to be lit and the new works will commence in January 2022.
