Formerly a members’ only club, The Red Rose in Ulverston has opened its doors to the public.
Luke Betty, The Red Rose assistant bar manager, describes the changes that have taken place at the venue as it has opened to the public: ‘[The Red Rose], previously known as a members’ only club’ is now open to the general public. ‘This includes full use of our hall, upstairs room and more.’
Always a popular club with its members, opening to the public means more people can enjoy the use of the venue’s fantastic facilities, as well as appreciate some of its new offerings, including a karaoke night and new cocktail menu. Luke, describing some of the new additions to The Red Rose, says: ‘We have started hosting karaoke nights every other Friday and have added cocktails to our ever expanding drinks menu.’
Situated close to the centre of Ulverston, the venue is only a few streets from the train station and close to the main bus stop, so easily accessible to both residents and visitors to the town. All can expect a warm welcome at The Red Rose.
