MUDFest

A brand new event has been added to Ulverston's festival calendar and if you are missing your Sunday night fix on the telly now that the Great  Pottery Throwdown has finished, pop over to Ford Park for MUDFest.

Kathryn Stevens, a sculptor from Barrow in Furness, as well as developing her own work, she also supports the work of others through her various roles in the Northern Potters Association, the offering of a kiln rental service and is the founder of this brand new ceramics festival in South Cumbria, MUDFest.

Taking place in the grounds of Ford Park, Ulverston on Sunday 19th May 2024 the public will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations, buy from local artisans and from further afield, have a go at throwing on the wheel and attend a workshop to make their own mug.

There will be potters from Scotland and the North West joining local artists selling a variety of work at our event including jewellery, animal sculptures, bowls and mugs to vases, raku fired pieces and decorative ceramic wall art.

Further details are available on the Ford Park website.  https://www.ford-park.org.uk/event-details-registration/mudfest
