LoyalFree, digital shopping app for towns and cities, has officially launched in Ulverston, funded by the Business Improvement District (BID). Over 40 local businesses have signed up to the app so far, offering deals and promotions to loyal customers.
LoyalFree, a multi award winning phone app, offers an innovative digital loyalty scheme which helps businesses attract new customers via a profile, showcasing their offers, reviews and images.
App creator, Jason Nesbitt, said: ‘Launching LoyalFree in Ulverston gives us a great opportunity to showcase the amazing variety of shops and events within Ulverston to new and returning visitors. We are really excited to engage the local companies here and help them advertise their amazing businesses.’
LoyalFree intend to introduce the concept to the public during the highly anticipated Another Fine Fest event on 16th June, when LoyalFree will be promoted with special offers to locals and visitors to the town who download the app.
The new partnership means BID levy paying businesses will gain from advertising in the local area, with customer insights and social media support. A local guide will also help visitors with vital tourism information, while an events section will showcase activities in the town. Businesses already on board in Ulverston include The Farmers Arms, The Original Men’s Room, Haddow’s Stoves and Geek Goods.
Justin Wales, BID Project Officer, added: ‘This partnership gives Ulverston BID the opportunity to support increasing footfall and encouraging customers to shop local. The app gives businesses an all-in-one digital platform to advertise their offers.’
Ulverston BID levy payers can email hello@loyalfree.co.uk for details on how they can get involved in the scheme.
