Lakeland Care & Support Services Limited

Marge Smyth established Lakeland Care & Support Services Limited in 2009. This followed her return to her home town of Ulverston following several years in the South West as Director of Operations for the largest not for profit care provider in the South of England.

Having seen examples of good and bad care practice throughout her career her vision was to create something special;

A service aiming to achieve the highest standards of quality
A service which enables people rather than just ‘doing for’
A service whose staff go the extra mile because they in turn are valued by the organisation and are proud of what they do and committed to making a difference for their clients.

Lakeland Care quickly achieved a reputation for quality service provision and has seen significant growth over a relatively short timeframe.
