Step by Step
- Start at The Gill
- Take the path that goes out of The Gill following the stream. Can’t see the stream? Stand with your back towards the public toilets and start walking.
- Follow this for about half a mile until you reach a gate that comes out on Old Hall Road
Here you have two choices:
1 .
- Go through the gate (* bear in mind there is occasionally a bull in the field – see if the sign is on the gate. Continue at your own risk. *)
- Follow the path keeping the wall on your right, you will come up to a gate with some trees by it
- Go through the gate and then climb up the hill for a view over town
- Take in the view and then make your way back down the same way, down to the road
- Continues below
