Christmas Shopping and Eat Local Campaign

The Ulverston BID this year has launched the Christmas Shop and Eat Local campaign, in previous years the BID has launched the Festive Thursday and Sunday shopping with great success, however this year the BID with the traders are concentrating on the whole of December with entertainment on various days in the Town Centre. We hope that you find many fabulous gifts in the town and have safe celebrations with friends and family. Merry Christmas and New Year, Stay Safe as we welcome 2022.

Why Does Ulverston need a BID?

BIDs are business-led initiatives taking advantage of government legislation that gives local businesses the power to raise their own funds to spend on their priorities in order to improve their trading environment. Ulverston BID is an investment scheme where local businesses collectively agree on the priorities and how to invest their money to benefit themselves, their staff, their customers and, as a consequence, the town as a whole.
