Art In The Park – Ford Park Sunday 1st September

Following the success of Art in the Park back in May, we’re looking forward to welcoming some amazing local artists including Peter and Marie Graves, Val Stangoe, Rebecca
Bennett, Sarah Brown, Nisha Halo, Kathryn Stevens, and Marie Rollet to name but a few.
Artists will be exhibiting in the Williams Room, the Coach House Courtyard, Terrace and Walkway and the garden will be open for you to enjoy, as will the Beehive shop and plant nursery.
Come and meet the artists, talk to them artists about their technique, choice of medium and what inspires them, and maybe purchase a piece to take home.
And while you’re feeling inspired by all the beautiful artwork, you’re invited to tap into you’re your own creativity and help us to create the longest, most colourful chalk snake – Picasso the Park Python!
Help us bring Picasso the Park Python to life and get creative by chalking small sections, full of colourful patterns as he slithers his way along the pathway and into the garden, and maybe even out again as he heads towards Hoad!
This is a fun and free community activity that anyone of any age can join in with – you don’t have to be an artist, just grab some chalk, get colouring and let’s see how far Picasso can slither…
The event is free to attend, any money raised from the sale of the stalls will support the Ford Park charity. If you’re a local artist and would like to exhibit, please contact Ford Park by visiting the website https://www.ford-park.org.uk/
