Amigos is the original and currently only Mexican Restaurant in the Southern Lake District. Established in 1997 by two ‘Amigos’ the quaint bar and eatery has become a popular venue for discerning locals and indeed curious tourists!
Ethically produced and, wherever possible, locally sourced fresh produce is the key to our continued success and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Zesty vibrant tomato salsas cut from the vine, healthy chunky guacamole laced with jalapeños and fresh lime, sizzling fajitas, sticky pork ribs and the finest fresh steaks you could ask for, straight from our butcher over the hill.
Intimate dining, family congregations and larger parties are all provided for and every night is indeed different! Our friendly service and relaxed ambience will make you feel welcome the moment you arrive.
