Jess Gillam Awarded an MBE

Jess Gillam has been awarded an MBE for services to music. The Ulverston saxophonist and radio broadcaster was appointed MBE in the 2021 Birthday Honours.

Town Mayor Cllr Bob Brown congratulated Jess on the award, saying:

'Many Congratulations to Jess Gillam on being awarded an MBE for Services to Music. Ulverston is very proud of you. You are an inspiration to many of our younger musicians.'
