If your business is temporarily closed:
You could make contact with your nearest business neighbours to exchange phone numbers. This may give a little peace of mind if you are not now able to be in your business premises every day. They may be able to check your premises for you and provide some reassurance that all is okay.

- If you are worried about stock being on display, you could choose to temporarily remove stock which is visible from the shop window.
- Do contact your insurers to check if you are covered for this kind of business interruption. Whilst most commercial policies don’t cover for this kind of situation, it is worth checking.
- There is so much information available for businesses via the Government website, and we would urge you to sign up for daily updates. You can do this at www.gov.uk/coronavirus This will give you the most up to date, and correct information direct from the Government.
