Hosted by Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, Ulverston
Friday 22 – Wednesday 27 May, 2020
At this year’s online Festival you will receive the empowerment of Vajrapani, the Buddha of spiritual power, and teachings on the power of compassion – how we can become a more and more caring person until we develop the actual power to help all living beings.
Special circumstances, special opportunity
Because of the restrictions arising from the pandemic, this year’s Festival is being held online for the first time. As you will see, this provides a special opportunity to reach more people and to bring people across the world together in a special online gathering where, though isolated from one point of view, we can join together in sharing the special practice of training in compassion for our suffering world. We look forward to sharing this experience with you and making a powerful and positive contribution to the wellbeing of our world.
About the Festival
Founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and organised by NKT-IKBU, the annual Spring Festival is a special event for people new to Kadampa Buddhism as well as those with previous experience. It combines empowerment, teachings and meditations in an inspiring presentation of modern Kadampa Buddhism that will fire you up spiritually and leave you fully equipped to begin to transform your life into a meaningful path.
