New members have been elected to the Ulverston Business Improvement District board following a public meeting on the 19th of October.
The newly elected BID board line-up is as follows:
Large Business: Rob Wyatt – Siemens; Jacqueline McCloy – Tritech; One Vacant Place
Small Business/SME: Anita Garnett – Ulverston Brewing Co; Craig Fox, Furness Engineering and Technology Ltd; Tony Martinez – Cumbria Teaching Agency
Retail: Gavin Knott – Appleseeds; Michelle Scrogham – Pure; One Vacant Place
Hospitality: Roger Chattaway – Farmer’s Arms; Jan Hancock – Town House B&B; Michael Bleasdale – Poppies Café & Bistro.
Charities & Schools: Richard Butler – Ulverston Victoria High School; Janet Heffernan – Sir John Barrow Primary School, One Vacant Place
The BID board is made up of individuals representing different businesses categories in Ulverston – Large Business, Small Business, Retail, Hospitality and Charities & Schools. The members were elected by Ulverston business representatives who attended the meeting on 19th of October and placed their votes on the night.
